Overview

Issho Ramen is a fresh addition to the Issaquah dining scene, nestled conveniently on E Lake Sammamish Parkway. This cozy restaurant specializes in ramen that balances tradition with subtle innovation, making it a must-visit for noodle lovers and those seeking comfort in a bowl. Their signature tonkotsu broth is creamy and rich without feeling heavy—perfect for chilly evenings or a satisfying meal after a day outdoors.

The menu offers a thoughtful selection of ramen variations, including black tonkotsu and spicy ramen, each crafted with care to highlight delicate yet well-rounded flavors. The pork chashu stands out with its melt-in-the-mouth tenderness, adding depth and texture to the bowls. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, reflecting a small but vibrant space where friendly and swift service enhances the overall experience. Those who stop by after outdoor activities or in search of a casual, flavorful meal will find Issho Ramen welcoming and satisfying.

The rising buzz from local diners praises both the food quality and the warm hospitality, making Issho Ramen an approachable spot for regular visits or for newcomers eager to explore Japanese comfort cuisine in Issaquah.

What a delicious find! My husband and I have been searching for a local ramen shop that can rival our favorite in the Bay Area. I think we have a contender. I ordered the black ramen and the broth was amazing - creamy, flavorful, and light. I drank the entire bowl after finishing my noodles. The pork chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender. My husband ordered the spicy ramen and said the broth was spicy but delicate in flavor. The service was great - friendly and expedient. The overall vibe was relaxed. We’re excited to go back and try more from their menu!

Just stopped in because we love ramen and we're excited to have a new option to try and we loved it! The ramen was super flavorful. My partner got the spicy ramen and found the heat to be perfect though she loves it on the hotter side. I got the curry and agedashi tofu and the flavors were amazing. Very happy with everything we tried and are excited to come back!

Nice, new, seemingly small business ramen spot. Enjoyed my tonkotsu broth and the genmaicha green tea. We stopped here after biking along the Burke Gilman. I would recommend it!

Tried this new ramen spot for a late-night dinner and it was really good. I had the black tonkotsu ramen and fried shrimp. The soup was super creamy and comforting—perfect for a cold winter night. The shrimp was nice and crispy, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely coming back again. Worth it!

Tl:dr - I suspect Issho’s will be a hidden gem in Issaquah, so be sure to get in while it’s still new We had the matcha latte (it comes iced) and takoyaki, both of which we enjoyed. For the main courses we had the Black Tonkotsu Ramen and Curry Pork Katsu Don. We didn’t end up getting a picture of it (next time) but the ramen broth has a nice smoky taste to it and was a nice richness. It was close to some of the ramen we had in Japan, so we’re looking forward to trying the other offerings they have. The curry don was a nice traditional curry. The sauce was a little on the liquidy side, which made it easy to blend with the rice. The tonkatsu was tasty as well.
